Not shaken by sorrow. Not hooked by pleasure. This is the second mark.
One whose mind is unshaken in sorrow, free from longing amid pleasures, and beyond attachment, fear, and anger — such a sage is called steady in wisdom.
SANSKRIT
दुःखेष्वनुद्विग्नमनाः सुखेषु विगतस्पृहः । वीतरागभयक्रोधः स्थितधीर्मुनिरुच्यते ॥२-५६॥

“Sorrow will still visit him. He simply will not shake. Pleasure will still arrive. He simply will not grasp. Attachment, fear, anger — not suppressed, simply out, like a flame with no fuel left.”
