The final verse of Chapter 2. This is where the chapter has been heading.
This, O Partha, is the state of union with the eternal. Having attained it, one is never again deluded. Established in it, even at the hour of death, one reaches liberation in the eternal.
SANSKRIT
एषा ब्राह्मी स्थितिः पार्थ नैनां प्राप्य विमुह्यति । स्थित्वास्यामन्तकालेऽपि ब्रह्मनिर्वाणमृच्छति ॥२-७२॥
KRISHNA’S LINE
“Arjun, you began this chapter collapsed in grief. Here is where it was leading: the state of Brahman itself. Reach it once, and delusion cannot return. Hold it even at the final hour, and you are free. This is Sankhya Yoga. The chapter is complete.”
