Krishna answers: here is the first mark of the steady mind.

The Blessed One said: When one completely abandons all desires arising in the mind, O Partha, and is content in the Self by the Self alone — then one is called steady in wisdom.

SANSKRIT

श्रीभगवानुवाच । प्रजहाति यदा कामान्सर्वान्पार्थ मनोगतान् । आत्मन्येवात्मना तुष्टः स्थितप्रज्ञस्तदोच्यते ॥२-५५॥

KRISHNA’S LINE

You asked how he speaks, how he sits, how he walks. First know this: every desire that rose in his mind has simply fallen away. He needs nothing outside himself to be content. That is where steadiness begins.
